David Anthony Foley

Dr Foley is an early career Clinical Microbiologist and Paediatric Infectious Diseases specialist. Dr Foley’s career to date has included a broad range of experiences; Dr Foley has worked in several countries and across a breadth of clinical settings, maintaining a strong focus on the diagnosis and management of infections. Dr Foley is also helping to drive the expanded application of genomic techniques within the modern health system. Dr Foley has a particular interest is in respiratory viruses, including their prevention, diagnosis and treatment and has commenced a PhD through University of Western Australia examining the determinants of respiratory virus transmission.
